This has to be my favorite book in the Nyrae Dawn's In the Games series. We get to learn more about sexy Maddox! And we meet Bee, a beautiful tattoo artist, who was kidnapped as a young child. Bee meets Maddox at a bar and they have a one night stand. A few days later, Maddox unknowingly comes into Bee's new tattoo shop looking for a job. Even though, Bee doesnt want to hire Maddox, she does after a little prodding from his sister, Laney. Even though they both try to keep their relationship strictly platonic, they cannot fight their attraction for each other! I love watching them learn to trust and love each other! We also get to see Laney and Adrian again!

This was a fun quick read. It was a little rushed and kind of unrealistic but it was still fun.
Dana is a new assistant wedding planner who gets to work on a destination wedding for a rich couple. Her famous boss is a major bitch but she decides to make the best out of it. Her first job of the wedding is making sure the groom Ben gets to his room and not to bother him. Unfortunately Ben wants to be bothered and keeps showing up around Dana. Which upsets Ben's fiance Claire and makes Dana job hell. The entire book is only a few days long which makes it very unrealistic but Dana is hysterical and Ben is hot so I can overlook it! "I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley for an honest review* Barnes and Noble Amazon I really enjoyed this book and was looking forward to the next books in the series until i saw the price. Unfortunately I cannot see myself paying $1.99 for 100 pages? If you take the 3 books and add them all up, that is almost $8 for a regular size book. There are only a handful of authors who I would pay over $3.99 for their book and most of the books in my ereader are under $2.99. That being said, I really did like the idea of the book, it was cute, fun but I just wish the sex scenes were not glazed over as much. You got a hint of what was going but not enough!
This book was a perfect ending for Lila and Ethan. I have read that some people were upset because of how it ended but I believe it is a wonderful ending to their story. While it might not be a true "Happy Ever After" but it was a great "Happy For Now with the possibility of a HEA".
Lila and Ethan are off on a month long camping trip. Everything is good until the end of the trip when Lila starts to question their relationship. She wants a future and wants to have one with Ethan. She doesn't want marriage now but she does want to know that it could be a possibility for the future. Ethan freaks ever time Lila brings up the future but does not want to loose her either. He is happy with everything staying just the same. Unfortunately this causes Lila to being to think about the possibility of a future without Ethan. "I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley for an honest review* While I did enjoy this book, I didn't enjoy it as much as the others in this series . I had a very hard time getting into the book but I don't know if it was because some if the stuff seemed repetitive or if it was because I was dreaded it because it was the ending.
I am glad that it did cover all of the loose ends from the other books and I am happy how it ended but unfortunately I did love it as much as I thought I would. I was so into reading Elect, I completely forgot that Jamie McGuire's A Beautiful Wedding went live yesterday! This is the 3rd book of an AMAZING series Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. You finally find out what happens at Abby and Travis's Wedding!
Off to go buy it!!!! Barnes and Noble Amazon Just finished reading this AMAZING book! It was so worth the wait! I am going to reread it again and then I will post my review shortly!!! But I suggest you go run and read it NOW!!!! Make sure you have already read Elite which is book 1!
Barnes and Noble Amazon I cannot say enough good things about this book! I absolutely loved it! Stephanie decides to stay at school all summer so she take a special screenwriting course. The first day she gets stuck with preppy frat boy, Ethan as her paper for the entire class. They have to write a screenplay for their entire grade. Ethan asks Stephanie to ditch her goth style for the summer and act as his fake girlfriend to get his mother to stop pushing his ex-girlfriend on him. She only agrees because she desperately needs a place to stay for the summer and Ethan offers her a room for free. They also decide to write a screenplay about a modern day Pygmalion, using themselves as the main characters. Unfortunately Stephanie plays "preppy" too well and begins to fall for Ethan.
Stephanie is a fun witty character, she is not afraid to say what she feels. Ethan is a gorgeous frat boy who thinks that Stephanie is the perfect girl to play the fake girlfriend because she is not his type, which means his heart is safe. Or is it?!! The chemistry between the 2 of them was great and I was very excited I got my Happily Ever After! I would love to read more about the 2 of them! I was very excited to read this book because I love Christmas stories! I really enjoyed the first 2 stories in the book. There were a couple that did not hold my interest very long but I think it was because I had did not know the back story and I felt that I was missing some very important information but now I am just going to have to read more from those authors so I can reread this stories! This books definetely got me in the Christmas
When Emily finds an engagement ring in her best friend Dylan's bag, she decides she HAS to stop him from marrying the wrong girl. Little does she know that Dylan is just holding the ring for his older brother, Zach, who is planning to Emily after he graduates in the spring. Emily is hurt that that she did not realize Dylan and his new girlfriend, Denise were even that serious. She calls on her roommates to try to seduce him but when that does not work, Emily decides to up the ante and seduce him herself. Dylan has been in love with Emily since they were kids but she has been dating his brother since high school. One night, when Emily fakes drunk, the two of them almost have sex but Dylan stops it before they do. Emily realizes that she is in love with Dylan and tells him that she is going to break up with Zach. Dylan tells her about the ring and he has decide whether he can betray his brother to be with the girl he loves.
I really liked this book. I was rooting for Emily and Dylan the entire time. I will say that I did feel a little bad for Zach. There were times that I honestly forgot about that Emily had a boyfriend. But I felt that football was more important to Zach than Emily and that was just putting her aside till he was ready to move on with his life and that was not fair to all three of them.
