This book waas a hard book to review. I liked it. I did not love it but I thought it was a decent book. Unfortunately a lot of people did not. The cover was amazing and I think that is what everyone loved but then they felt the book fell short.
Autumn is your basic good girl. She follows the rules, studies every day and just wants to do well in school. Until she meets bad boy Hunter Bane. She is drawn to him and wants to find out more about him. Half the time he is full of himself but one night Autumn finds him in tears outside her room. Something is up with Hunter, but what?
Like I said earlier, I liked it. There was enough sex and drama to keep my attention till the end, for the most part. There were a few things that did throw me off. The first was how often Autumn talked about the drugs or the "secret frat club" in the open. You would think, that if you were trying to keep something a secret you would not talk about it so much especially at parties. The other think that bugged me was when a friend OD's in the dorms, they don't seem to call 911 { at least not right away) They check out the body and talk in the room for a while. Then they go back to Autumns room. It was just weird. Normally if someone dies especially in the dorms especially from drugs the college would get involved.. but no college and no police.
The book is only $2.99 so it will not break the bank, and I would like to try another book from this author and hopefully she can fill in the holes better in her next book!
