Growing up, I desperately wanted to be a marine biologist. So when I learned that Sydney worked at a aquarium and got to play with dolphins, I was instantly interested. Then you throw in sexy Coen and I was hooked.
Sydney gets a job as Coen tutor. The same day, Coen gets the job of Sydney's new self defense trainer. Even though she is attracted to Coen, she thinks he is a pig and tries refuses all of his sexual advances but agrees to go out to dinner with him the following night. The date quickly turns sexual but Coen ends up being the the one that holds out on the actual sex. He continues to refuse to have sex with her until she tells her best friend Henry that they are together. But does Sydney choose Coen or Coen?
I really enjoyed this book. Like I said, it grabbed my attention quickly. I was pleasantly surprised with Coen. I expected him to be a pig but he was just a little cocky but he truly loved Sydney and he treated her right. What I didn't expect was how I ended up disliking Sydney. I did not like how she treated both of the boys but I do understand why she didn't want to hurt either one. But I still a little angry with her!
It took a while but thankfully, I got my Happily Ever After and there is no cliffhanger but there are few open questions that I am hoping are answered in the sequel, especially about her step-father and step-brother.
